Green is the color of envy, and the gentle but gleaming green of August?s olive-hued birthstone is certainly shown off to an envy-inspiring advantage in this necklace design. The peridot-decorated pendant hangs from a solid gold double-link rope chain. A heart-shaped peridot is at the top of the pendant and three chains hang down from the heart, each supporting a briolette-cut peridot. The center briolette hangs slightly longer than the briolette at either side of it, creating symmetry for the long pear-shaped drops.
